The most Highly-Anticipated Congress of the Year is back! The National Healthcare Group (NHG) is proud to present the 14th Edition of The Singapore Health & Biomedical Congress (SHBC). Previously known as the Annual Scientific Congress, it has grown exponentially to become the Largest Healthcare & Scientific Congress in Singapore.

Held annually since 2002, SHBC has established itself to become a must-attend vital platform for healthcare professionals, research scientists, academics, industry experts and key stakeholders to share and discuss ideas and breakthrough strategies with the ultimate goal of advancing healthcare to the next level.

Each year, it attracts close to 3,000 healthcare delegates from Singapore and the Asia Pacific, including Australia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Taiwan & Thailand.

Following the overwhelming success of the SHBC 2015, NHG warmly welcomes you back to SHBC 2016 held at MAX Atria, Singapore Expo, on 23 & 24 September 2016!

This year’s theme, “Forging a Sustainable Relationship-Based Healthcare System” inspires all healthcare professionals to forge relationship-based healthcare systems to not only tackle challenges of tomorrow, but ensure sustainability for future healthcare generations. Delegates will take away key lessons from SHBC, aligned with NHG’s vision of evolving the healthcare model to encompass stakeholders based on long-term relationships.

In line with the theme, this year’s congress will feature prominent local and overseas speakers selected for the Education, Population Health and Mental Health Tracks. Identified as an upcoming concern in modern society, the Metabolic Track will make its long-awaited debut this year at SHBC. A must attend for decision makers, Population Health 2016 will also return as a critical platform for major stakeholders to discuss the future of population in recent times in broad strokes.

Medical Technology will also feature prominently as it is a key sector identified by industry experts which will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare. Expert speakers will discuss today’s important healthcare challenges and discuss strategies to overcome tomorrow’s challenges. The inaugural Health Innovation Technology (HIT) challenge is a contest for healthcare professionals to submit concepts that present healthcare solutions in an innovative, engaging and sustainable manner. Finalists will have a chance to present their ideas at SHBC 2016.

In addition, other key clinical tracks include Dermatology, Nursing, Trauma and Research. Furthermore, the highly popular and oversubscribed Primary Care Forum will resume its place at SHBC as a Satellite Conference, again poised to be a top draw amongst delegates.
